The Pursuit.

My name is Melanie. I’m 18 years old and I am on the eve of the beginning of the rest of my life. But I’m done being afraid because that’s not what God has given me. He has NOT given me a spirit of fear, I have to keep reminding myself. I was born and raised in New Jersey, USA and everyday I fall in love with the things here just a little bit more. But at the same time, my desire for change drives me away. Currently, it’s driving me to Missouri.

On July 14th,I’ll be starting the One Thing Internship in Kansas City, Missouri at the International House Of Prayer. More than anything I’m excited for the change. I’m tired of sitting around doing nothing, I want God to WRECK me. I’m finally ready to stop being pursued by Him, I’m going to pursue him. The internship is over but my passion for Him isn’t.
