Because of the love that I have for all of you, I feel it pertinent to tell you of something here at the International House of Prayer that has changed my life…. The Bob Powers and Caleb Culver music video, “LOVE”. Yes, I did say what you think I did. The two most beloved men on base have indeed united together on this project and it is just as wonderful as you would expect. Now, you’ve seen that for yourself.

Bob Powers (on the left) is a bit like “the craze that’s swiffering the nation” around base. He has more than 230 dedicated (Facebook) friends & followers and a “I love Bob Powers” fanclub on Facebook which boasts 132 members. He’s currently the innovative Associate Worship Leader and lead Electric Guitarist on Luke Wood’s set. He is most famous for singing through his guitar via an instrument mic and is one of the most beloved Associate Worship leaders on base. He has many enthusiastic followers and many unhealthily attached “followers” (or stalkers in simple English). It has been reported that he smells like Cherry Blossoms and has a “tree-like” stature. IHOP wouldn’t be IHOP without Bob Powers, it would be “I Hope I die soon”.

Caleb Culver (as seen on the right) is also on Luke’s set as the enthusiastic pianist. More often than naught, he switches back and forth between banging on the keys skillfully and playing traditional classic melodies. Caleb is married to one of the most best rated Administrators on base, Rachel Culver. He can often be seen happily head banging while playing a sweet and beautiful melody and stomping on the pedal of his piano. It is a wonder to behold. Caleb also has a well established fan base, with no stalkers reported as of yet. But there’s still time.

Bob and Caleb have a bit of a history together. They both came to IHOP about 3 years ago from New York and jumped onto Luke Wood’s set around the same time. Also, Bob lives in Caleb’s basement (not yet confirmed). Therefore, it is only natural that they would eventually combine their mutually creative minds and make some beautiful music together. And beautiful it is indeed. Bob and Caleb say it best:

Caleb: “We know that many of you probably aren’t able to put out music with such exceptional quality, but you ARE able to listen to it and learn from it…”

Bob: “And love it…”

Caleb: “And love it… So remember to do your part
